What was your New Year’s resolution this year? Mine were pretty typical, lose weight and get more organized. What I didn’t realize when I decided to do these again was that I would also learn along the way to be more accepting. That I think is my big one. I am accepting the fact that I love food, I love to relax with friends and have a glass of wine and I love to watch t.v. or movies with my family or sit on this computer and talk (sort of) with all of you. I love all of these things more than watching what I eat and cleaning out junk drawers. But….. I love how relaxed I feel when everything is put away and how much better I feel about myself when I am making healthy choices. So I’m finding a balance. I am find so many new recipes to try out that are delicious and healthy and I am feeling so good about myself as I get my house and my crazy schedule organized and I’m not getting upset that all these changes are done like yesterday.
